Известният рок/блус китарист и певец, започнал кариерата си с THIN LIZZY и продължил като самостоятелен изпълнител, си отива от този свят на 58 години. Все още причината за кончината на Gary Moore не се посочва. Смъртта на музиканта е настъпила в ранните часове на днешния ден в стаята му в хотел "Costa del Sol" край Малага, Испания, където той е бил на почивка. За българските фенове близък спомен ще остане незабравимото гостуване на Gary Moore през септември 2007 г. в София.
